In 2023, the National Bureau of Enforcement initiated several substantial legislative reforms and introduced new services.
During the session of the Permanent Council of the International Union of Judicial Officers (UIHJ) and panel meetings, the delegation from the National Bureau of Enforcement discussed the ongoing legislative changes in the field of enforcement in Georgia.
Rati Bregadze, the Minister of Justice of Georgia, addressed the Parliament to discuss the mediation process introduced by the National Bureau of Enforcement."In the first nine months of 2023, the National Bureau of Enforcement successfully resolved 8,771 cases. This is a clear illustration of our commitment to reaching amicable resolutions despite the court's decisions, which must be immediately enforced. We exert our best efforts to facilitate dispute resolution between citizens through settlements. I extend my gratitude to all the employees actively involved in these mediation processes," noted the Minister.
The 'Registration of Commutative Contracts' project covers various contract types, including rental and lease agreements. Parties involved agree that, in case of contractual obligations violation, the National Bureau of Enforcement will issue a writ of execution.

They explored innovative projects aimed at maximizing the digitization of enforcement procedures.
