In a session at the Parliament of Georgia, the Minister of Justice announced the National Bureau of Enforcement's latest service project.
"I am pleased to announce our new initiative, allowing customers to register rental agreements in the public register. The registration will define that, in the case of the lessee failing to meet obligations or make payments, the National Bureau of Enforcement will execute eviction without requiring a court decision. Parties involved will agree on this in advance, ensuring the protection of the owner's rights. We will soon present this initiative to the parliament and would appreciate your support," stated Rati Bregadze.
The Minister of Justice addressed this matter in response to a question from MP Nino Tsilosani, who inquired about effective mechanisms when lessees do not pay rent fees and do not vacate the real estate voluntarily.
The 'Registration of Commutative Contracts' project covers various contract types, including rental and lease agreements. Parties involved agree that, in case of contractual obligations violation, the National Bureau of Enforcement will issue a writ of execution.
