UNDP - Development of Efficiency of Georgian Enforcement system

With the purpose of strengthening the capacity of the National Bureau of Enforcement to effectively fulfill its functions and efficiently deliver services, National Bureau of Enforcement in cooperation with the UNDP has implemented a project "Capacity Development of the Enforcement System in Georgia".

In the framework of the project, the following activities were implemented:

• Working visit to France. The representatives of National Bureau of Enforcement got acquainted with the mixed enforcement system of France and shared information and experience the representatives of Enforcement Agency of France. The visit consisted of the following sub-activities

1. On 10 - 12 September 2009, in Marcel, the representatives of National Bureau of Enforcement participated in the Congress of International Association of Judical Officers and became an associated member of the Union.

2. On 14 - 16 September 2009, in Paris, the representatives of the National Bureau of Enforcement held a meeting with Chamber of Enforcement of France to share with the experience and enforcement system related information.

• Training of Trainers (ToT) for the staff of National Bureau of Enforcement and ToT on management for the Heads of Territorial Bureaus of Enforcement

• Training of Trainers on usage of case management software

• Elaboration of Strategic Development Plan based on a needs assessment carried out within the framework of the present project.
