TWINNING is one of the principal tools of institution building of European Commission, which aims to help beneficiary countries in the development of modern and efficient administrations, with the structures, human resources and management skills.
Purpose of the running TWINNING project “Better Enforcement System Through Twinning - BESTT” is to increase the efficiency of the National Bureau of Enforcement (NBE) through improving its performance, strengthening capacity and increasing public perception of the institution.
The project covers the following components:
1. Improvement of legal framework and internal working methods
2. Capacity development of NBE staff
3. Improvement of the capacity of NBE to handle public relations through information events and elaboration of public awareness raising strategy.
Project duration: September 2011 – April 2013
Project budget: 1,150,000 EUR
